Decking Installation Examples
Our customers are always setting us challenges and our design skills and technical expertise have been particularly stretched in the last few weeks. So here’s a brief rundown of some of our most interesting projects from the last month as we take our usual tour around northern England.
Steel wires in Lancashire
We took a trip over the border into the murky world of Lancashire last month, and if we were expecting some surprises, we weren’t disappointed. This customer wanted us to install a regulation decking design but with steel wires as part of the balustrade system. This is not something we had tried before but we agreed to the installation and we think the end results are contemporary, long-lasting and fantastic looking:
Glass panels in Worksop
In Worksop we were tasked with making a small space look spectacular, and this customer was delighted with the shape and design we chose for this back garden installation. The glass panels really finish off the neat shape of this homely and attractive design:
Technical expertise in Bradford
Back across the border in West Yorkshire and this customer in Bradford set us a technical challenge with a steep grassed incline outside their back door. We had to design and construct a safe and practical structure to support the decking, and the end results allow this family to enjoy an outdoor space they didn’t previously have, proving that decking can have a transformational effect:
Keeping it simple in Doncaster
Sometimes we are simply tasked with creating a neat and tidy place for a family to enjoy their back yard, and even when we are faced with limited space and little scope for creativity, a decking install really does the business. This composite decking install in Doncaster makes great use of an otherwise plain and under-used space and allows this family to sit and enjoy their outdoor space much more than they did previously:
Practical features in Barnsley
Staying in South Yorkshire, with this back garden space we are able to incorporate some practical features into the final design. The installation needed steps to allow movement to another level of the garden, but we were also able to design a neat seating design with a bench underneath the window, which also boxed off some drainpipes. Some attractive balustrade finished off the design nicely:
A light show in Kippax
Back in Leeds we installed this two-tiered step design in Kippax, which looked fantastic when we had completed it, but the main feature only comes alive at night time. This spectacular lighting installation is just one of the many features our team can design and install for you, to really finish off your attractive garden space:
