New Decking Installations Bradford, Malton, Normanton
We talk a lot about the expertise of our designers and the precise and delicate skills of our installation team at Northern Deckline, and this month we can definitely show you visual evidence of this. We approach every customer’s project as a unique individual mission, there are no off-the-shelf solutions where decking an outside space is concerned, because dimensions, gradients and customer demands dictate that no two spaces are the same.
So we have to take a fresh approach to every project and create a bespoke design that works to the customer’s precise requirements and expectations. These skills were put to the test with three unique projects across the Yorkshire region in recent weeks.
A unique space in Normanton
People want decking for all sorts of different reasons, and these need to combine to provide a practical and attractive solution, and these skills were put to the test with this customer in Normanton. Here we had a small outdoor space which already had an existing paved and grassed area, and the customer wanted to link this together with a decking and balustrade design.
We were able to sketch out a neat solution that made cost-effective use of materials, was safe and practical and really added to the overall visual appeal. The customer was absolutely delighted with the results:
Making a splash in Malton
When we are set a challenge, our design and installation team always rise to it. In fact they are inspired to greater things when tasked with anything that is different to the norm. This was definitely the case with this customer in Malton, East Yorkshire, who wanted a composite decking design that incorporated a small pool. As you can see from this progress picture, the frame and eventual decking installation were adapted to accommodate the pool using certain techniques. This goes to prove that pretty much nothing is out of bounds and whatever the space, there is always a cost-effective solution to be found:
A different kind of home in Bradford
Of course most of our work is residential, and we do also have many installations in commercial spaces such as pubs, restaurants, shops and offices. But occasionally we get an unusual request like this one in Bradford, where a customer wanted a decking installation for their static caravan at a caravan park.
In all honesty, this was a pretty straightforward design and installation but we were working with a large outdoor area and the decking has really made a practical and attractive improvement to this space. The customer was delighted with the result, which means they can now make good use of the external areas of their caravan, which has made a significant lifestyle improvement for their leisure time going into 2022:
