February 2022 Composite Decking Installations Review
Our Latest Decking Installations
One thing we have noticed at Northern Deckline since the pandemic hit, is that there are no traditional busy periods for home improvements anymore. Previously you could predict when people were most likely to have a decking installation carried out, just as there have always been seasonal periods when most people have roofing work done or their boiler serviced. But since people were confined to their homes during lockdown, it seems that the hunger for home improvement never ceases, and people no longer wait for the weather to dictate their plans.
As a result, we are busy with decking installs for 12 months of the year, and 2022 has certainly started in the same vein. We have been busy already in January and February and that means we have left some families with some new outdoor spaces to enjoy, in readiness for when the weather starts to pick up, and certainly with plenty of time to enjoy the upcoming summer. So let’s have a look at three of our most recent decking installations:
A transformational change in Warrington
This family in Warrington had invested in a hot tub for their garden and needed a safe, dry and weather-secure space on which to enjoy it. They already had a good-sized garden with a spacious lawn, but we were able to adapt this space to create a great outdoor area in which to enjoy their hot tub and for entertaining family and friends. This anti-slip composite decking is ideal for areas where water might be attracted and is easy to clean and maintain. Check out these before and after pictures.
Having a revitalising effect in Manchester
Whatever size or shape of your decking installation, one thing you can guarantee with the finished result is that your outdoor space will look fresh and inviting. This family in Manchester had recently installed some new bi-fold doors and needed to freshen up their existing decking area to complete the refurb. Their decking area was a traditional timber decking and looked tired and old, and in need of yet more love and attention. We think you'll agree that this new composite decking install looks fantastic, complements the new doors and will look this clean, new and appealing for many years to come. And the lights we also installed added even more wow factor.
Complementing the overall design in Harrogate
Harrogate is a town full of stunning architecture and plenty of history, and many of the homes reflect this style of design. This property in Harrogate was stone-built and the family wanted a decking installation which perfectly complemented the style of the house. Even though it was a small and functional decking installation, the design works well and the family were delighted with the results.
